Our training and support is inspired by the insight meditation tradition and the teachings of Professor of Medicine Emeritus Jon Kabat-Zinn and the MBSR program.
Alison Keane studied under Jon’s direction in California in 2007 and is one of a small number of Australians accredited with the Centre for Mindfulness in Medicine Healthcare and Society to teach MBSR.

Looking to establish a wellness regimen that involves calming meditation and mindful movement like yoga? Learn healthy ways to look after both your body and mind with our Mindful Wellbeing Package. You will learn simple and effective ways to wind down stress and to look after yourself with easy to follow and suitable for everyone hatha yoga and basic meditation training. Over two sessions with the help of a qualified yoga teacher you’ll find out the perfect postures to safely and effectively practise at home or on the go so that you can get the most out of it for body, mind and spirit.
This includes a yoga practice assessment, two practical sessions with the teacher, instruction in how to use yoga propos and an easy to follow personalised Yoga Just for Me program of postures with instructions to use at home.
These can be arranged at a time that suits you or your group of friends at our boutique Ashgrove yoga space.
Alison is a senior registered (Yoga Australia) hatha and yin yoga teacher with experience in teaching meditation and yoga in the management of anxiety and stress, and remedial yoga for neck, backache, migraines and general muscular tension.
